Outline of Final Research Achievements |
A new discovery of atmospheric plasma coupling process obtained by sounding rocket experiments is a high speed wind flow of neutral atmosphere of ~ 100 m/s around 100 km altitude. The high-speed wind occurs in the dynamo region from 90 km to 130 km. The winds include small scale wind fluctuations. We believe that we directly observed atmospheric gravity waves existing around 100 km altitude. Based on the findings and knowledge, we have developed the Earth and planetary atmosphere-plasma models. The atmospheric plasma model was constructed as a physical model using magneto hydrodynamic equation, empirical model, and artificial intelligence (AI) model.
