Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, microscopic behavior and positioning performance of a ball screw mechanism are investigated at sub-manometer-level on the basis of experimental results using a positioning apparatus equipped with a loading devise by VCM in order to realize ultra-fine positioning by using ball screw mechanism under actual disturbance from machining load. Moreover, an ultra-precision turning system is fabricated to consider experimentally on positioning performance under actual machining condition.
