Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have applied the sensor gas chromatography for the measurement of hydrogen sulfide in blood. It is highly sensitive for hydrogen sulfide, without interference by other gases, and it may be applicable for forensic samples. There was no effect of hypostatic discoloration by hydrogen sulfide by the experiments using sodium sulfide. We conclude that hypostatic discoloration may be due to the direct exposure to hydrogen sulfide from skin.
