Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we evaluated how tumor-associated vesicles like apoptotic bodies released after chemotherapies can modulate tumor microenvironment in terms of sensitivity to subsequent chemotherapies. We found that a specific type of chemotherapy can induce TLR2 ligand, which modulate inflammatory status in lung cancer microenvironment and reduce the sensitivity for the subsequent chemotherapies.
