Outline of Final Research Achievements

We investigated the correlations of miR-1290 and its target genes, NAT1 and FOXA1, with breast cancer prognosis. Positive correlation was observed between high NAT1 protein expression and better overall survival in breast cancer patients. Positive correlation was also observed between FOXA1 mRNA expression and disease-free survival in breast cancer patients who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy. However, no correlation was observed miR-1290 expression and prognosis in breast cancer patients.
