| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We examined the prophylactic effect of IL-17 A DNA vaccine on two different arthritis mouse models. Production of anti-IL-17A antibody was confirmed after IL-17 A DNA vaccination. The arthritis score and destruction of joints was significantly suppressed by IL-17 A DNA vaccination in both arthritis models. These results demonstrated the prophylactic effect of IL-17 A DNA vaccine on joint destruction in arthritis.
