Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Measured concentrations of landiolol were similar to the predicted concentrations of landiolol calculated using parameters from patients undergoing vascular surgery. Although pharmacokinetic parameters of landiolol in healthy volunteers were smaller than those in patients undergoing cardiac surgery, there was no large difference. High sensitivity to landiolol in high-risk patients are thought to be contributed to both pharmacodynamics (PD) and pharmacokinetics (PK), but the degree may be larger for PD than PK.
