Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Local anesthetic, bupivacaine, is known to have neurotoxicity. Bupivacaine decreased viability of human neuroblastoma cell line (SH-SY5Y cell). T-type calcium channel blocker exacerbated the bupivacaine induced cell death. According to the result of realtime PCR, Cav3.1 was the only subtype of T-type calcium channel which expressed on the SH-SY5Y cell.
