Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Newly formed bone was observed at the gap between SMA mesh device and original bone surface, and decorticaton procedure enhanced early bone regeneration from original bone surface. This technique appears to be a promising clinical alternative as alveolar bone augmentation and suggests the new concept of “dynamic GBR” for the atrophic alveolar bone.
