Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We set the training plate (modified PAP) to children with disability with chief complaint of dysphagia. We set 73 patients and We were able to evaluate it in 20 people (12 boys and 8 girls, average age 4 years, 7 months old) by VF and VE. We set ①the training plate with front notch and back notch, ②the training plate with front notch and back bulge, ③the training plate with front notch and Thick palatal plate. In the improvement item by the training plate, the fixation of the tip of the tongue, lift of the root of the tongue, the formation of the bolus of food, the transfer of the bolus of food, decrease of the aerophagia were recognized.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
