| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Aims and objectives of this research are to focus on narrative coaching program materials for mid-career nurses (practical instruction nurses) who educate newly graduated nurses. We, researchers evaluated our previous programs for nursing students and summarized mid-career nurses' opinions. For instance, we interviewed them what they learned and how they built better relationships. Therefore, we define the problems and figure out problem-solving techniques. Also, we discussed practical implications for educators. Based on the results obtained, we plan, develop, evaluate and organize these training programs. These programs are effective communication tools for healthcare professionals.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
看護職は離職率の高い職種であり、転職や離職に関係する要因も多様である。厚生労働省は、ガイドラインを設けて、各医療機関において看護職員研修の推進を図っている。本研究の成果であるナラティブ・コーチング学習プログラムは、新人教育を担当する中堅看護師の「役割行動」上の悩みやコミュニケーション課題に対応するものであり、ナラティブの語りと意味づけ、コーチングの未来志向と行動の探索を融合して、学習者自らの成長につながる機会を提供する研修プログラムに寄与する可能性がある。また、看護職だけでなく、多くの保健医療職種に活用できると考える。
