Mastitis is one of the inhibitory factors in breastfeeding. We found that inflammation of stagnation mastitis due to galactic stagnation becomes severe by intake of the sucrose of the quantity to take routinely. However, inflammation did not occur in a mammary gland only by eating of the sucrose, and galactic stagnation was essential. It was confirmed that rosemary extract was effective in inflammatory suppression in an in vitro study.
