| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The achievement of this study was developing an educational program for nurses that aims to foster the skills of providing appropriate acute care and nursing to pediatric oncologic emergency patients. The features of this educational program were not only developing and providing a uniform program but also fostering nurses’ skills for developing their own educational programs based on their unique educational needs.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
近年の少子高齢化に伴い、小児医療機関の閉鎖・規模縮小の勢いは止まらない状態が続いている。これに伴い小児看護を経験したことがない看護師が増加しており、小児がん治療施設では小児がん救急看護を含む、急変時対応ができる看護師を独自に育成する必要があった。
本研究では年間発症数が少ないために教育プログラムが未作成であった「小児がん救急」に着目し、これに対応できる実践力を育成する教育プログラムを作成すると同時に、看護師が独自にプログラムを作成できる能力を習得することを目指した。これにより、教育プログラムが未整備なものが多い領域でも、看護師自身が教育プログラムを作成することが可能になると思われる。
