Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In order to develop a novel odorless code system, several biochemical gas sensors for hydrogen peroxide, lactate and choline were developed using each redox enzyme, respectively. As the results, the sensors allowed to individually recognize the odorless volatiles (3 bit code: 8 patterns) printed by an ink-jet printer without any chemical cross-talk and to image hydrogen peroxide in the gas phase, thus showing the possibility of the novel chemical code system.
