Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In the development of screening system for early discovery of cerebrovascular accident by analyzing eye fundus, blurring correction for blink and/or eye movement is conducted. Then the beating of retinal vessel has been accurately extracted for the video recorded by Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscope which is widely distributed in ophthalmic hospitals. From the static point of view, we succeeded to extract the positions of intersection of artery and vein which the ophthalmologists use for the diagnosis of arteriosclerosis. We further succeeded to extract the contours of blood vessel in eye fundus image with extremely bad visibility, then the dynamic analysis of small blood vessel has become possible.
