Outline of Final Research Achievements

The present studies elucidated that primary hepatocyte and established fibroblast cell line from rats with metabolic syndrome showed disorders in circadian rhythms of clock genes. Dietary proteins affected UCP1 and UCP2 mRNA expressions in brown adipose tissue that plays a significant role in energy expenditure. They also induced in abnormal circadian rhythms in hepatic Cyp7A1 mRNA expression.
