Outline of Final Research Achievements

Transposable elements, called LINE, can mobilize and amplify their own copy in the host genomic DNA. Using this LINE transposable elements, we developed a novel protein expression system in cultured cells. This system will be used as a new protein expression system that can express a large amount of a certain protein you demand.
