Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Heat stress during seed maturation induced grain chalkiness and seed dormancy. The grain chalkiness was caused by induction of a-amylase through reactive oxygen species. The seed dormancy related to new transcriptional factor. These results indicated that the environmental during seed maturation is important for seed production.
