Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aims to develop techniques to label zooplankton. When Tigriopus japonicus was exposed to Quantum dot, the fluorescent nanno-particles were transferred to half of next generation through fertilized eggs. This technique allows detailed analyses on population dynamics. With rotifers and cladocerans, only exposed individuals were labelled.
