| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, one-pot synthesis of nanocavities on a substrate, which can recognize biomarker proteins, were demonstrated using a molecular imprinting technique, and after the nanocavities formation, post-imprinting modifications were carried out, where fluorescence dyes were introduced into each recognition cavities to achieve detection of biomarkers. I believe that this technique may provide a new way to obtain molecularly imprinted polymers to diagnose diseases.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
これまで煩雑な分子認識素子のパターニング無しでは困難とされてきた複数標的分子の結合情報に対して、同時かつ選択的・独立的に情報を発信する多重蛍光標識分子認識ナノ空間クラスターを自在に構築することを現実のものとする本研究の成果は、人工高分子材料が生体材料を凌駕する成果となる可能性を秘めている。また、ワンポット合成と逐次PIMは自動化が容易に可能なことから大量生産も視野に入る。従って、プロテオミクスなどの基礎研究から、疾病の早期発見のための診断技術への応用、さらにはin vivoイメージング、臓器選択的DDSやナノメディシンの領域まで広い範囲で、学術的にも産業的にも大きな波及効果がある。
