Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study was to construct a care model for symptom management and create a practical intervention program for patients with higher brain dysfunction who have difficulty in intervention due to mental symptoms. In the first step, we made a draft of the model based on the previous research, and classified the elements of care into 12 categories, and then we interviewed nurses about the usefulness of the model. In the second step, in order to enhance the usefulness of the care model, we interviewed certified nurses in stroke rehabilitation nursing about their experiences of interventions in difficult cases, and extracted nurse’s intervention methods, and then integrated into the care model. Also, from the narrative, we illustrated a specific intervention method and formulated it as an intervention program.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
