Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study clarified twelve diversity elements in nursing workplace including in seniority, career, age, gender, nationality, role orientation, employment pattern, license, personality, disability, family condition, benefit package. Furthermore, acceptance of diversity elements in nursing workplace was significantly associated with higher job and family satisfaction, higher benefits and lower conflict of performing work and family roles, higher mental health condition. Finally, this study developed diversity management manual for nursing organization reflecting these study outputs and following contents; diversity management guideline, feedback sheet for organization, good practice collection (in progress), study tools (e.g. diversity climate scale).
