Outline of Final Research Achievements |
I visited a Japanese settlement named San Juan in Bolivia three times from 2015 to 2018, and investigated the religious vocabulary of Catholics. The record of the vocabulary was main purpose of this research project. It seems to be that, in order to describe religious vocabulary, the record of the religious life is necessary. For that reason, I interviewed and recorded religious vocabulary through listening to the history of religion in this Japanese settlement. This research project could be completed successfully. I plan to publish a book and an academic papers on the history of Catholic Church in this Japanese settlement by March 2019.
