Over 3000 checklist tests were distributed to students and returned. The data was scanned and sorted. The tests were added to previous data and linked together through overlapping test items. Analysis of the full list of the most frequent 3000 words in English was conducted and was reliable.
Attended the Vocab @ Tokyo Conference in 2016 and AAAL Conference in 2017 to present how the data was collected, the methodology of how the research was conducted, results and how teachers could use checklist data to find the vocabulary size of their students.
Creation of a website to disseminate the data. The website contains the full list of words used in the study. The words are put into groups and included is a test students can take that will show their level and which list they need to study.
