Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to develop a micro infarction detection system for early diagnosis of dementia. We investigated the following three points: I. To clarify an optimal high-resolution double inversion recovery (DIR) - magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) method for detecting micro infarction; II. To develop normalized brain model of DIR-MR images for a Japanese population; and III. To develop a micro infarction detection system on optimized DIR-MR images using a statistical computer analysis.
