| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We established mouse endometriosis model. The endometriotic cysts were formed 10/16 (62.5%)in Balb / c and 6/16(37.5%) in c57 BL / 6. This cyst epithelium expressed estrogen receptor and progesterone receptor. Thus, these cysts were confirmed endomtriotic cyst. In CCR5 deficient (KO) mice, the lesions were not formed in combination donor KO and recipient KO. The rate of lesion formation was 4/10 (40%), in WT - KO and 4/9(44.4%) in KO - WT. The endometiotic cysts were suppressed significantly in KO - KO. These results suggest that the CCL5-CCR5 system of endometrium itself and intraperitoneal environment plays essential role in endometriosis.
