Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We established the chronic long electrical stimulation system with measuring system of evoked potentials in visual cortex for artificial vision. We could stimulated the optic nerve electrode for 8 hours a day for 2 weeks and VEPs and ERGs was unchanged. Our result suggests the safety of chronic long electrical stimulation in visual system.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
