Outline of Final Research Achievements |
These studies were conducted to reveal the influence of various factors, such as implant distribution, attachments and design of overdentures, on maxillary implant overdenture. In the results, the strains of both implants and overdentures were the smallest when using magnet attachments comparing those with locator and ball attachments when implants were not splinted. From the results of these studies, it is suggested that magnet attachments can decrease the load to both implants and overdentures mostly when maxillary implant overdenture was applied.
