Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we tried to develop the bone regenerative therapy for jaw bone defect applied to zinc ion releasing titanium and dental pulp stem cells. To evaluated the stimulating effects of the zinc releasing titanium, we performed alkaline phosphatase activity, real time PCR, alizarin red staining. Our results indicated the future possibility of clinical application of zinc ion releasing titanium as a scaffold for jaw bone reconstruction.
