I could not collect enough samples and analyze the association oral flora and aspiration pneumonia.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

検体数が十分に集めることができず、下記の調査ができなかった。
口腔細菌・真菌叢と全身疾患(糖尿病・誤嚥性肺炎・感染性心内膜炎などの循環器疾患・腎炎・早産や低体重児出産など)と関連が指摘されているが、原因となる菌や菌叢は明らかにされていない。これら疾患患者の口腔内・血液・気道分泌物内の口腔細菌・真菌叢について次世代シーケンサーで解析すれば診断時間が短縮され、遺伝子レベルで菌種を同定するため診断精度の向上に資すると考えた。
