| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study was to clarify 1) development an assessment tool to measure teaching competency of nurses for training the educational specialist nurses and 2) current status of education and training in home-visit-nursing service agencies and compare them by their size. In 1), it was obtained the reply from 68 nurses. It is conducted detailed analysis now. In 2), Eight categories for training institutions, “medical institutions,” were identified in the medium-sized agencies; the smaller agencies showed higher utilization rates. Thirty-eight categories for the themes of the training, “psychiatric nursing” and “child health nursing,” were found among medium-sized or larger agencies.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
これまで看護師によって発揮されていた教育力は、経験知として形式知化されてこなかった。看護師は継続教育のみならず、臨地実習指導者など将来の看護師を育成する大学の看護基礎教育課程にも大きくかかわっている。教育に日々携わっている看護師が自己の秘められた教育力を正しく認識し、教育面で卓越している点や不足している点を自己評価できるようになり、将来的に教育スペシャリストを育成することである。
また訪問看護事業所における教育の実態を明らかにし、規模別に比較することで、より適した教育企画につながったり、教育を受けにくいと言われる小規模事業所が教育を受け、教育力の高い看護師をで育成するための方策が得られる。
