Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aims to establish electromagnetic compatibility among medical device, communication device and equipment instrument for providing the best medicine. We investigated electromagnetic noise radiated by light-emitting diode (LED) lamps and their compatibility with wireless medical telemetry system. In addition, we investigated safe introduction of power line communications (PLC) device and wireless local area network (W-LAN) device in clinical settings. Moreover, we measured electromagnetic environment in a few hospitals.
