Outline of Final Research Achievements |
For nine months from August 2017 to April 2018, I conducted research on user's context recognition using smartphones and wearable devices under Professor Mani of UCLA. During the stay, I got a novel idea of a low-power-consumption place recognition system. It utilizes an energy harvest element not only for a power source but also for a sensor. This idea was accepted to a top conference IEEE PerCom 2019 as a full paper (Acceptance rate: 16.6%). The achievements are more than I expected. I also hosted an international workshop called PerPersuasion 2019 with Professor Mani.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
