Outline of Final Research Achievements |
It is becoming important for ecosystem management to be based on scientific evidence and theory. Here we have shown that climate change and land-use change have interactive effects, thus complicating issues of environmental changes and biodiversity crisis. To face such uncertainties, it is important to have spatially-explicit scenarios, which could be useful for active management intervention aimed at restoring and conserving ecological communities and ecosystem functions/services they provide.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
