Research Abstract

本特定領域で創製された新物質を対象として、最新の放射光X線散乱実験技術を駆使してその精密構造を決定し、構造的観点から新物質相の電子状態と量子物性発現機構を明らかにした。特に、放射光強磁場下回折装置を設計・制作し、遷移金属酸化物における電荷・スピン・軌道秩序状態の新奇な磁場応答や、有機導体における幾何学的フラストレーション効果による電荷密度波と電荷秩序の共存状態を発見した。
