Research Abstract |
酸化物の示す多様な磁気構造の解明と、人工超構造形成を利用した電子スピンの物性開拓を行った。磁気構造では、螺旋磁性体の実空間での磁気秩序を初めての観察や、外部磁場による磁化と分極の同時制御に成功した。さらに、強磁性体に特徴的な異常ホール効果の包括的な理論を構築した。人工構造では、酸化物半導体最高の移動度と量子ホール効果の観測に初めて成功した。電界効果、光照射等を利用して絶縁体を超伝導・金属状態へ転移させることに成功した。
