Research Abstract |
様々な遷移金属酸化物を対象として、高品質の薄膜作製を行い、紫外線を照射することによって光キャリアドーピングを行い、それに伴う物性の変化を輸送特性の評価および光電子分光実験を通して詳しく調べた。その結果、光キャリアドーピングに伴うキャリアの導入と電気抵抗の大きな変化、および、ケミカルポテンシャルの可逆シフトを観測した。また、透明半導体である二酸化スズ薄膜において、顕著な光照射効果を発見し、その機構を明らかにした。さらに、銅酸化物超伝導体やマンガンペロブスカイト酸化物において光電子分光実験により、光キャリアドーピングの効果と電子状態の変化に関する重要な知見が得られた。
