Research Abstract

イオニクス素子はイオンの流れの存在下、すなわち非平衡下で用いられる。そこでは材料中に化学ポテンシャルの勾配が常に形成しており、それに駆動された物質移動により、組織の変化が起こる。機能性を追及して形成したナノ組織を如何に維持するかが、高温ナノテクノロジーの解決すべき最も大きな問題である。本研究はイオン流れ下の組織変化を熱力学および動力学的観点から、定量的に予測する概念を確立し、それをもとに高温でのナノ組織の維持に関わる技術を開発することを目的にして行った。
本研究期間内で以下の成果を得た。
(1)イオン結晶中の化学ポテンシャル分布. イオン流束とその発散を表す理論式を導出した。
(2)金属の高温酸化組織の解析に応用して, 導出した式の妥当性の検証し, 以下の研究に応用した。
(3)この手法を異相界面を有する系への拡張する方法を確立した。
(4)イオン流束の発散と格子欠陥構造との間の一般的関係を導いた。
(5)3元系の金属酸化物への応用手法を開発した。
(6)組織解析のための金属酸化物表面の酸素ポテンシャルの実測法の確立。
