Research Abstract

1.UHVスパッタによるパノスコピック形態制御ナノコンポジット薄膜磁石の製作
UHVスパッタ法によりNd2Fe14Bの高配向薄膜を作製し,その構造と磁気特性を評価した.磁化の値はArガス圧に大きく依存し,PAr=0.7Paで極大となった.そのときの極大値はバルク値に近い15kGが得られた.基板加熱温度,Arガス圧およびTa下地層の厚みという3つのパラメータを最適化した結果,T_s=600℃,t_<NFB>=40nm,P_<Ar>=0.7Pa,t_<Ta>=5nmのとき,最大エネルギー積(BH)_<max>=36MGOe,飽和磁化4πM_s=14.7kG,保磁力H_c=6.7kOeという特性を有する試料が得られた.この成果を基に,ナノコンポジット磁石として理想的な構造となるようにソフト相(α-Fe)を組み合わせた系について,その構造や磁気特性を調べることにより,目標とする試料を作製するための指針を得ることを目指す.
2.強磁場プロセシングによるパノスコピック形態制御希土類系焼結磁石の高保磁力化
1(1)既存の電気炉システムを改良することで強磁場熱処理直後に急冷可能なシステムを構築した.
(2)Nd-Fe-B系焼結磁石の強磁場中熱処理により保磁力の上昇を確認した。またその効果は,炉冷を行った場合に比べ,急冷の方が顕著なることを見出した.
(3)強磁場中熱処理による保磁力の上昇は,熱処理時に印加した磁場の大きさ,およびDy置換量の増大に伴って大きくなることが確認された.
(4)Nd-Fe-B系焼結磁石の強磁場中熱処理効果は,粒界相の粒径と関係があることを示唆した.
