Research Abstract |
真核生物ゲノムの機能制御には、クロマチンと細胞核が中心的な役割を果たしている。本研究では、細胞核に局在するアクチンファミリーであるアクチン関連タンパク質(actin-related protein ; Arp)に主に焦点を当て、細胞核の内部構造の分子構築がどのようにクロマチンやゲノムの機能に関与しているかを明らかにすることを目的として研究を進めた。その結果、クロマチンや細胞核の構築において、Arpが様々な分子機構で関与することを明らかにすることができた。
