Research Abstract |
DNA代謝制御に関わる核内ドメインの局在と動態の制御機構の解明に取り組んだ。その結果、転写因子Bach2が形成する核内ドメインの動態制御には蛋白質翻訳後修飾SUMO化修飾が重要であること、ヒストンH2AXのゲノム損傷依存的なアセチル化がゲノム修復関連核内ドメインRAD51フォーカスの形成制御に係わっていることが明らかになった。これらの研究から得られた知見から、核内ドメイン形成制御機構の一端が明らかになり、今後様々な疾患の新しい診断法、治療法の開発に結びつくことが期待される。
