Research Abstract |
植物に固有の細胞内小器官(オルガネラ)であるプラスチドは、原核生物型の分裂様式により細胞内で増殖しながらダイナミックに形態や機能を変化させ、植物の器官形成・環境変動などに対応する。本研究では、(1)花粉(雄性配偶体)におけるプラスチドの役割と、(2)葉緑体におけるチラコイド分化、に関わる突然変異体の解析をモデル植物により進め、プラスチド機能に関わる未知の分子機構を明らかにする研究を行った。
