Research Abstract

高活性脱硫触媒Ni_2Pの活性点構造およびメカニズムをオペランド高速XAFS法で決定した。これと同時に単結晶Ni_2Pの表面科学的研究をすすめ、Ni_2Pの活性構造を明らかにするとともに、その表面構造が条件により大きく変化することを見出した。新しい表面化学顕微鏡法であるXANAM, EXPEEMの開発を行った。このような機能と構造を解明することで、Ni2Pの活性を十倍以上高めることができた。
