Research Abstract

ホヤは近年、発生過程の詳細な記述、ゲノムプロジェクトの完了などにより、発生生物学における新たなモデル動物として注目を集めている。本研究ではマボヤの初期発生を司るしくみの理解をさらに押し進めるため、卵内で局在しているmRNAについて詳細かつ網羅的な解析を行った。また、32細胞期あたりから始まる誘導的細胞間相互作用について、シグナルに対する応答能を制御する因子、そして誘導によって引き起こされる非対称細胞分裂の制御メカニズムを解析した。
