Research Abstract

断層を避けての建設が不可避なライフライン施設では、これを避けることを前提とした“ゾーニング法"の適用はそぐわない.したがって大変形を受ける地盤内の構造物の“壊れ方の実際"を精密な計測で定量的に把握し,これに備えておくことは重要であり,過去の被害事例をディジタルデーターアーカイブスとして多くの研究者に公開し議論を深める必要がある.実際の断層被害の現れた地盤内には傾きあるいは破壊されたままの構造物が残存しており、本研究では台湾・高速道路3号線のBauweishanの高架橋基礎杭の調査などを中心にデータアーカイブスの構築を行った.この調査・研究では台湾大学陳教授、財団法人台湾営建研究院(Taiwan Construction Research Institute)の李博士、台湾国道新建工程局(Taiwan Area National Expressway Engineering Bureau)の第2区所、陳氏らの全面的協力を得た。この調査の結果、工事中で橋脚を支えていた杭と、橋脚が建設されていなかった杭の亀裂の発生パターンに顕著な差が現れており、最初に強い揺れが来て、上部構造物の慣性力が大きく亀裂発生に関わったものと、上部構造物の影響がなく、ただ揺れの後に生じる地盤の大変形が亀裂発生に関わったものに分類されることが示された。これは断層近くの構造物の設計に重要な知見であり、個々で提案するガイドラインの主要な項目の一つになっている。
また2003年のイランBam地震の断層沿いの被害についても現地の電柱亀裂分布調査結果をもとに詳細な地震動分布の推定を行い、さらに2004年中越地震のトンネルの被害も地盤変形を記録している貴重なデータとして解析を行った。
