Research Abstract |
(1)Study on the method and learning system for high school & university collaborative education using broadband The methods and learning system configurations for high school & university collaborative education using synchronous two-way communication and using a system to provide on-demand educational materials (videos and textbooks) through broadband were studied, and lesson contents that use both methods and were created and classes using them were conducted. As for the former method, Gifu Women's University, high schools in Gifu prefecture and Australia were connected using an inter-school network using a broadband line of Gifu information and telecommunication network, and then high school & university collaborative classes which consisted mainly of English education program were conducted under the coordination by the teachers of Gifu Women's University who are native English speakers. As for the latter method, on-demand lessons which use the e-Learning educational system of Gifu Women's University were created and these lessons were distributed to high school students through the Internet environment using broadband, and this allowed the students to receive these collaborative lessons both at their high schools and homes. (2)Development of educational programs related to high school students and introductory period education and extraction of problems in the programs Educational programs that are mainly related to subject information were jointly developed by university teachers and high school teachers, and they were distributed to high school students as on-demand lessons. At the same time, the programs were evaluated by the students who received the lessons at the same time and the problems in programs such as points to be improved were extracted.
