Research Abstract |
This is the report of the environmental- sociological research on the disaster problems, especially the flood-suffering in Japanese cities. This report has five chapters following: In the 1st chapter, we consider the ideological problem in this research, above all on the social-scientific aspect of our theme. In the 2nd, we picked up in Nagano Pre. the glass-root movements and relevant studies for this flood-sufferings as the pre-studies to this research. In the 3rd, we analyzed the back-ground of the Asakawa -dam problem in Nagano-City, and considered the Stop-Dam Manifest by TANAKA, pre- president of Nagano prefecture. In the 4th, we considered the economic aspect of the remove issue on Arase-dam, in Yame-City, Kumamoto Pref. In the last chapter, we analyzed and evaluated the self-defensive organization self-judgments and their wisdoms in the local community in the case of Nishibiwazima -town, Aichi Prof on the flood suffering, 2000. And we considered the voluntary activities for the suffering-people. Finally, we proposed the importance of the 'The socialization of the individual experimental wisdoms and its linkage to the governance " on various disasters by the residents in the suffering areas. At the end of this report, we added the historical records and the Stop-Dam Manifest on the 3rd chapter and the volunteers messages on the 5th chapter.
