Research Abstract |
Recently, we have to monitor daily person flow, changing dynamically, in urban area reducing the congestion in traffic nodal point like terminal station and reducing the secondary disaster occurred by confusion by earthquake, fire and large scale of event. It is essential to grasp person flow generally for proper policymaking or reservation of secure public space, under the mission of realization of safe and comfortable land in Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. In FY2004,We have developed about one million person's trip data (based on FY1998) and railway network data in Tokyo metropolitan area as GIS base data aiming at dynamic digital Tokyo. And we study research software such as GIS,CG,CAD, visualizing large scale of person trip data as animation image. In FY2005,we have developed trial software of visualization of these person trip data, and interpolate proper spatio-temporal location for acquired person trip data because of its roughness. Moreover, we have tried some observation method using video camera in narrower space. Finally these researches resulted in the way for a platform concept of technology development and application model.
