Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to clarify the effect of healing care to mother in early puerperium. Particularly, the influence on mother's fatigue and breastfeeding by the healing care is clarified. The participants who followed normal delivery progress were assigned to 80 women in intervention groups which perform the healing care, and 73 women in control groups which perform the usual care. Finally, 77 women in intervention groups and 59 women in control groups were made applicable to analysis. Healing care was a series of following relaxation cares; bathing of the leg which hung down several drops of aroma oil which a mother likes, massage of the leg using a leg-massage machine and drinking the herb tea which a mother likes. In addition, the mother was lent ears of caregiver in the single room which can secure privacy before her sleeping. Analysis was authorized statistically. As a result, executing the healing care to a mother in early puerperium suppressed fatigue of the mother under hospitalization, didn't worsen her depressed feeling, and controlled generating of her breast trouble. Therefore, the effectiveness of healing care on mother's fatigue and breastfeeding was verified.
