Research Abstract

以前より当研究室で開発してきた高分子の理論的重合法(Elongation)を、非経験的分子軌道法のレベルで実用化できるよう発展させ、現在プログラムGAMESSに組み込み世界中に公開した。
さらなる発展として、非経験的MO法のレベルで分子内軌道相互作用および分子間軌道相互作用の定量的解析のためのab initio Through Space/Bond(TS/TB)解析法をもとにElongation-LMO-NBO based Through Space/Bond相互作用解析法(ELN-TS/TB法)を発展させている。この新しいバージョンにPCM法を導入し、水やベンゼン溶媒中におけるオリゴチオフェンの電子状態をElongation法と組み合わせて計算できるように開発した。得られた全エネルギーは、従来法による全系に対する結果と10^<-9>a.u./atomの誤差で一致することを確認し、タンパク質における協同現象や電子移動反応の解析が可能となる段階にある。現在DNAへの適用も行ない、非常に高い精度で電子状態が得られることがわかっているため、さらに溶媒効果を導入することによりより現実的な系への適用に進んでいる。さらなる実用化を図るために、超効率的2電子積分の高速化のためのQFFM法の導入も検討し、AO-cut法を利用しなければ実行可能な状態になっている。
一方、電場のもとでの高分子の電子状態変化を計算できるように完成し、種々のオリゴマー系への適用をおこなった。タンパク質のみならず、高分子の非線形現象が扱えるように電場の影響のもとでのThrough Space/Bond相互作用解析が可能となるように、Fock演算子に電場のハミルトニアンを加えた状態で解析するための方法を開発中した。NLO材料設計のためにab initio Through Space/Bond(TS/TB)解析法を適用した結果は現在投稿中である。
